On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, Santiago “Macho” Obregon, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away. He was ninety years young. Born in Cuba to Ana and Jose Manuel Obregon on April 7, 1932. Santiago married the love of his life, Rosa Alfonso Obregon, on December 16th, 1960. They were together for over 60 years. He lost his beloved Rosa on July 11, 2017.

Santiago worked his entire career at Arnold Bakery in CT. Santiago is survived by his sister, Maria J Obregon, his children Maria Diaz, Jose and Rosa Obregon. Grandchildren – Roseann and (Jose) Mendoza, Nicholas, and Olivia Obregon. Great-Grandchildren; Sofia, Isabella and Noah.

Always a comedian and jokester he loved to make people laugh. He had a great sense of humor. We will miss his joy of laughter and his stubbornness. He was extremely generous with everyone and loved family. He was an avid New York Yankee fan.

Services will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm at Lloyd Maxcy in New Rochelle with a mass on Monday, December 12, 2022, at Blessed Sacrament in New Rochelle at 10:30am.
