Daniel T. Telesco Jr. (Danny) born on 9/14/1948 & passed away suddenly on December 16th, 2022 with his sister Dorothy, daughters Alena & Alisa & long time Dr. Vincent Cirillo by his side at New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center.
Danny was the son of Daniel & Mary (Iannotto) Telesco. Danny grew up in New Rochelle NY at his Grandmother’s restaurant Modern Pizzeria aka PSA on Russell Ave. He worked with his father at Telesco Oil Corp & Under the NY City Water Tunnel where he got hurt and lost his partner. He later moved to Pelham to raise his family & his girls Alena & Alisa. He worked many years in Plumbing and maintenance as well as real estate. He also spent many countless hours at Sound shore Hospital volunteering and at Howe Avenue Nursing Home providing wood working to the elderly patients. He has restored the cross & the blessed mother statue at Our Lady of Perpetual Help where he and his family have attended for many years. Danny loves the outdoors and was a hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his time with his best friend Robert in the Adirondacks since he was a teen. Even when Dan was unable to work, he was known to assist people with whatever he could over the phone to “walk you through a problem” because that was the man he was! Danny Jr. Was loved by all and will be missed dearly by his family. Especially his daughter Alena and her son Nicholas. His daughter Alisa and her children Aj, Arianna & Mason. His brother Fred, his wife Tricia and their son Freddie. And his amazing sister and support Dorothy and her husband and his best friend of over 55 years Robert A. Manganiello. He’s predeceased by his sister Diane Mary Anne Telesco and his grandparents Angie and Fred along with his two Aunts Martha and Filomena Iannotto.
Visiting will be Monday December 26th from 4-8pm. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
