Kenneth John Valle passed away peacefully on August 9, 2022 in his home in Delray Beach, FL. Ken was born on April 18, 1939 to parents Frank Valle and Erna Mattingly. He was raised in Larchmont with his three brothers Frank Jr., Robert, and Donald. He attended Mamaroneck high school.
Ken is survived by his children Kenneth, Dorothy Condro, Carolyn Scofield, Eileen Mann (Adam), and Joseph (Christine). He was preceded in death by two sons Michael and Thomas. Ken was an entertaining grandfather of 10, Elizabeth Brown (Tim), Christina Condro (Steve), Jacklyn Mann Garcia (Dan), Alison Mann, Amanda Mann, Emily Scofield, Joseph Scofield, John Francis Scofield, Nina Valle and Joseph Valle Jr. and one great grandson Austin Brown.
All who knew him knew of his love of golf, especially in his later years. Family and friends were welcomed to his home and always reminded of his tee times at Delray Golf Club. He spoke of his golf buddies frequently (and sometimes nicely :)), and the comradery they shared. For a bit of time, Ken also enjoyed his fishing boat especially when accompanied by his colorful brother Bobby (decd.). His retirement from the Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department, where he worked for 20 years, served him well.
Our dad has been described as one of a kind, witty. And sometimes just a shake of the head and a grin said it best. He was a memorable man that we will miss tremendously.
Burial will be held on August 25, 2022, 11:00 am at Greenwood Union Cemetery followed by lite fare at Harrison Meadows Country Club.
