Virginia A. DiFalco, a proud lifelong resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday March 20, 2022 at the age of 85.
Ginny was born to the late George and Rachel Ewing on December 21,1936 and attended New Rochelle schools. She married Louis P. DiFalco on May 17, 1959 at The Presbyterian Church of New Rochelle where she was a lifelong member and served as a Deacon for many years. Together, Ginny and Lou raised three children; Donna of Larchmont, George of New Rochelle, Diane and son-in-law Richard of Somers.
In addition to being a devoted Mom, Ginny worked at Mayflower School, for the late Dr. Albert Andresen, for the New Rochelle Parks and Recreation Department and for the New Rochelle Fire Department until her retirement in January 2014.
Ginny is survived by her three children, two adored grandchildren, Rosemarie of Somers and Richard Jr. of Los Angeles, her beloved sister Dorothy and loving brother-in-law Angelo, cherished nieces and grand/nephews, godchildren, cousins near and far, dear friends, and Jackson.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Presbyterian Church of New Rochelle, 50 Pintard Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801, or the Uniformed Firefighters Association, P.O. Box 994, New Rochelle, NY 10802.
Visitation at Lloyd Maxcy and Sons 16 Shea Place New Rochelle on Thursday March 24, 4-8pm. Church services at the Presbyterian Church 50 Pintard Avenue New Rochelle on Friday March 25 at 10am (MASK ARE REQUIRED). Burial Beechwoods Cemetery to follow.
