John Mastromarino passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 64 in New Rochelle, New York. His recent battle with COVID-19 showed his courage in facing life challenges. Despite the pain, he fought so hard until the end. John was a proud United States Marine Corp Veteran, he truly loved his country. He was a proud employee of Larchmont-Mamaroneck Joint Sanitation – and he valued his friendships there more than many may know.
John grew up in the Bronx. New York, where he made many lifelong friends who he always enjoyed meeting up with when they could get together.
John met the love of his life, Theresa in 1985, and they married on June 29th, 1987. They had one child together, their daughter, Nicole.
He was a kind and accepting man. He faced many troubles in his life, but you wouldn’t know it by simply looking at him. He was so strong on the outside, he always carried on and continued to provide for his family.
He was the proudest Pop Pop – his grandchildren were truly the light in his life.
John is survived by his mother, Marion D’Ariano and sister Phyllis Berardo, his wife Theresa and daughter Nicole, and his two Grandchildren, Robby and Gianna, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed dearly by all that knew him. To know him was to love him.
