Giuseppina Nitti, a longtime resident of New Rochelle peacefully passed on, on April 29, 2021. She was 95.
Giuseppina was born in Grumo Appula, Italy on August 8, 1925 to the late Francesco Fazio and Carmela (DeCiara).
Giuseppina married her true love Francesco Nitti on April 30, 1948 and spent many wonderful and memorable years together. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is predeceased by her husband Francesco Nitti. She is also survived by her children; son Vito Nitti (Cristina), daughter Rose Vigna (Joseph), and daughter Carmela Nitti. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Emily (Steven), Josie (Hiram), Frank (Darlene), Eric (Shannon), Stacy (Frank), Heather, Dean and Korina. Also survived by ten great grandchildren; Jessica, Alyssa, Steven, Isabella, Austin, Jordana, Brooke, Alescia, Julia and Anna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, 5/4/2021 from 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY. A Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, 5/5/2021 at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church 15 Shea Pl, New Rochelle, NY. Entombment to follow at Gates of Heaven Cemetery
