Marie Churchill passed away March 30th, 2021 at the age of 78 in her longtime home in New Rochelle.
She was born September 13, 1943 to the late William and Sanny Gottfried in Bronx, NY and is survived by her husband Robert Churchill and daughter Christine Churchill.
Marie was truly one of a kind. Known for her witty humor and kind hearted personality, she brought a smile to the face of everyone in her life. She was a friendly face known throughout the neighborhood, a “cheer mom” to many and will forever be remembered by those part of the Blessed Sacrament grammar school community. She loved to garden, spend time with family & friends and most enjoyed her passion of photography always making sure all of life’s moments were captured and treasured.
She was a wonderful wife, amazing mother and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Marie’s life will be held Saturday April 24th with a mass at Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle at 9:30am followed by a reception for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association can be made in memory of Marie.
