Anthony Formisano was born on November 10, 1943 to Angelo Formisano and Freida Damiano in the Bronx, NY. Anthony was predeceased by both parents and beloved brother Philip. He is survived by his sisters Maria and Susan whom he adored.
On February 26, 1962 Anthony married his teenage sweetheart Adelaide “Sissie” Kappel. They recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary! They moved from the Bronx to New Rochelle to raise their three children Doreen, Angelo and Toni-Ann. They loved living in New Rochelle the Queen City of the Sound and grew up boating, swimming and fishing together.
Anthony was an avid fisherman and was well known at Hudson Park and the New Rochelle Municipal Marina for his fun loving personality. He was an artist and writer of a children’s book about the environment.
Anthony adored his grandchildren Tara, Cody, Peter, Kylie and Gina and was proud of their many accomplishments. Anthony was loved by a huge extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Anthony was an Army Veteran and served in Korea. He then became a building superintendent for Local 32E Service workers for 30 years at Rochelle Arms in New Rochelle. He later became a Union Delegate for Local 32BJ, where he was a true advocate for his workers.
Anthony was a man of great faith and taught his family to love God and be good to others. Anthony will be missed for his loving heart and huge personality.

Mass Saturday 3/13 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church
