Mary E. (Betty) Webster

Mary E. (Betty) O’Toole Webster, a lifelong New Rochelle resident, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2020 nine days shy of her 84TH Birthday. Betty was born on
August 23, 1936 in New Rochelle to the late James & Alice (Murphy) O’Toole.
Betty graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1954, and worked as a bookkeeper for Accessocraft Jewelry in their NYC showroom and in the New Rochelle Office on Lawton Street. She later went on to work for United Hebrew Soundview Senior Apartments where she was loved by all the seniors. Betty married James P Webster at Blessed Sacrament Church on May 5, 1957. Betty enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband James of 63 years, her 5 children, Betsy (Kevin) Madeo, Debbie (Paul) Caruso, James (Michelle), Richard (Cleunice) and
Sherry (Anthony) Angelini. Her cherished grandchildren, Nicholas Caruso, Alex, Christopher and Max Webster and Bo Madeo: who will miss her dearly. She is also
survived by her brothers James (Barbara) O’Toole & Peter (Jann) O’Toole, her Brother-in-law Richard (Judy) Webster and predeceased by her sister Alice (Patty) Viehamann.
She also leaves behind many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. Mass is on Wednesday at 10:30am at Holy Family Church. Interment to follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
