Barbara Johnson, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on June 27, 2020. She was 85.
Barbara was born on June 28, 1934 in The Bronx, the last of 6 children born to the late Elizabeth (Brennan) and Michael J, Donnelly. She was predeceased by her husband James who died in 2013
She was active in Holy Name church where she was a member of the Altar Guild, the Blessed Mother Sodality and volunteered at all of their fundraisers.
She is survived by her children Virginia Johnson DiBello, Elizabeth Johnson, Kathleen (Joe) Schena, Karen (Brian McDonnell) Johnson Scarcella, Eric (Krista) Johnson and Michael Johnson; her 9 grandchildren and her great grandson; her sister-in law Janet Ivanoff and her brother-in-law Bill and Pat Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting will be private for her family and a funeral Mass will take place at Holy Name Church.
