Regina Zarrilli, age 96, passed peacefully on April 15, 2020. She was born on July 15, 1923 in Eighmy Run, Pennsylvania but was a longtime resident of New Rochelle, NY and Jupiter, Florida.
As a young child, Regina cultivated a strong work ethic and devotion to her family. She enjoyed going to work with her father and she loved attending school. She graduated New Rochelle High School and Secretarial School, where she secured an executive secretarial position in NYC. In later years, she was the Administrative Assistant to three New Rochelle Mayors, and two New Rochelle Hospital presidents. On weekends, she worked with her husband at Redwood Nursery in Larchmont which they owned and operated for 50 years. Her creativity was evident, especially during the Christmas season. She decorated wreaths, hand-made bows and created floral arrangements. Regina took great pride in her work.
