Ida Ciardullo, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2020. She was born in New Rochelle on February 5, 1932 to the late Gaetano and Caroline (nee Benincasa) Arancio, and attended schools in New Rochelle.
On August 19, 1951 she married the love of her life, Vincent, who predeceased her in 2002.
She is survived by her three children – Deborah (Carl) Carilli, Vincent (Catherine) and Carolyn (Gerald) Miceli, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Andrea (Thomas), Carl (Dianne), Matthew and Michael Carilli, Jack and Patrice Ciardullo, Mia and Mark Miceli; her three great granddaughters Olivia, Gabriella and Caroline Carilli as well as her cherished brother Salvatore (Gina) Pace and many nieces and nephews.
Ida was a lifelong active member of Saint Joseph’s Church and in her later years a member of Holy Family Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Her passion was her family and taking care of everyone in it. She loved cooking, baking, hosting the greatest holiday dinners, reading and feeding anyone who was hungry.
She will be greatly missed.
