Giuseppe Di Salvo was born on December 27, 1938 in Andretta, Avellino, Italy. He married Marianna Senerchia on January 30, 1962. From their union, Rosa and Gerardo were born. He is survived by his wife Marianna, his children Rosa and Gerardo, his son-in-law Gerardo, daughter-in-law Teresa, and his grandchildren Louis, Maryanne, Adriana and Joseph.
At the young age of seventeen, our loving father bravely immigrated to Switzerland to provide for his four younger siblings. His journey continued in 1979 when he migrated to the United States with his wife and children, to pave the way for a better future. He was an outstanding mason, but his true love and passion was spending time in the garden. His infectious smile and charismatic personality lightened the mood of everyone that he encountered. Whether it was waving hello from the garden, cracking jokes or bringing his smooth moves to the dance floor, his energy was felt by all. The journey of his legacy will live on forever through instilled life lessons, respect and endless love felt by his family and friends.
On the morning of March 28, 2020, at the age of 81, Giuseppe peacefully passed away in his home, surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch”.
Due to current circumstances, a funeral mass cannot be held. A memorial mass will be organized at a later date, to celebrate the life of Giuseppe. If you would like to make a donation to the American Lung Association in memory of Giuseppe, please click on the link below.
We will forever hold the memories we’ve created with you close to our hearts. Your legacy, hard-work, respect and life lessons you’ve taught us growing up, will forever live on through each of us. Continue to color our world planting your beautiful flowers.
This is not goodbye; until we meet again Nonnino. Please continue to protect and guide us.
We love you endlessly,
Best In The West!
Louis, Maryanne, Adriana & Joseph
