Jessica Blaney Childs was born on August 9, 1985 in New Rochelle NY and is the daughter of Bill and Theresa (nee Blaney) Childs. On February 10, 2020 Jessica sadly and unexpectedly left us and passed from this world.
Jessica grew up in New Rochelle and was a graduate of The Ursuline School in 2003. She went on to earn her B.S. Degree from St. Bonaventure University in 2008. Jessica was employed by the City of New Rochelle and worked in the Tax Assessors Office.
Jessica is the proud and loving mother of Christian Mihalick. Christian was the most important part of her life and truly meant the world to her. Besides Christian and her parents, Jessica is survived by her maternal grandmother Mary Blaney, brothers; William (Jodi), Bernard (Emily), Timothy and four nephews; Will, Cole, Henry and Graham. She is also survived by many Aunts and Uncles; Jean and Pat Kennedy, Bernie and Tracy Blaney, Marie and Roger McCollum, Cathy and John Cuddihy, Joe and Meg Blaney and Brian Childs and many cousins.
Jessica’s passing has left a void in all our lives that can not be filled. She was loved by all and will be forever sadly missed.
Visiting will be on Thursday, February 13 from 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY. A Mass is scheduled for Friday, February 14 at Holy Family Church on Mayflower Avenue at 10:30am.
