Michaela “Mish” Lateckova Daddabbo was born on March 19, 1984 in Nitra, Slovakia to Karol Latecka and Zuzana Raganova. Michaela passed away on Thursday, December 26 at the age of 35 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband Vito Daddabbo; her dog Mason; parents Karol Latecka and Zuzana Raganova Lateckova; sister Natalia Lateckova and brother-in-law Richard Keckes; parents-in-law Teresa and Enrico Daddabbo; sisters-in-law Carmela Iacobucci and Maria Poli (Lino); and five nephews who absolutely adored her: Anthony, Nicholas, Lino, Marco and Christopher.

Michaela came to the U.S. at the age of 21 and worked as a au pair until she met and married her husband, Vito, on April 4, 2009. She received her Masters in Social Work from New York University.

She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love will live on in the hearts of all her family and friends.

Michaela was a passionate animal lover. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ASPCA.

A Memorial Mass is scheduled for Saturday, January 4th at 10:30 at Blessed Sacrament Church at 15 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY.
