Stephen Leonard Sangirardi, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on November 10, 2019. He was 65.
Stephen was born on July 15, 1954 in Brooklyn to Rose (Marra) Sangirardi and the late Angelo Sangirardi.
He worked for many years as a High School English Teacher and was the author of “Monday Afternoon”, “The Percocet Diaries” and “A Shakespearean View of Freud”.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife the former Denise Marie Aiello whom he married on August 17, 1980; his daughter Stephanie (Raffaele) Albanese; his granddaughters Sofia and Giulia and his brother Paul. He was predeceased by his brother Leonard.
Visiting hours will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9pmat Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday 10:00am at Holy Name Church. Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
