John J. Palazzo “Jazz”, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on September 24, 2019. He was 95.
John was born on February 21, 1924 in New Rochelle to the late Salvatore and Natalie (Quaradino) Palazzo. He worked over 42 years as a Postal Carrier for the New Rochelle Post Office. He served in the Navy during WWII.
He was predeceased by his wife Carmela who died in 1980.
He is survived by his children: Richard (Alanna) Palazzo, Jack (Ellen) Palazzo and Cheryl (Ernie) Viccaro; his 9 grandchildren ,9 great grandchildren and his two brothers Anthony and Eugene. He was predeceased by his grandson Johnny.
Visiting hours will be Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Siller Tunnels to Towers Foundation or any Veteran’s Charity.
