Richard S. Pappas, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on June 3rd 2019. He was 64.
Richard was born on September 27, 1954 in the Bronx, to the late Gerard and Theresa (Mattioni) Pappas.
Richard worked, for over 26 years, as a Registered Nurse first at Sound Shore Medical Center and then at Montefiore in the Bronx. He was active in New Rochelle Baseball and Little league.

He is survived by his wife the former Lisa San Filippo whom he married on September 30, 1978; his children Gregory Pappas and his wife Michelle, Keith and his wife Kelly and his daughter Darienne and her husband Biagio Nocerino; his 7 grandchildren and his sister Donna Pappas.

Visiting will be on Wednesday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
