Anthony J. Nardozzi, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on May 3, 2019. He was 83.
Anthony was born on March 29, 1936 in New Rochelle to the late Anthony and Rocca (Summo) Nardozzi.
He served in the US Marines from 1956-1959 with an honorable discharge. He was a member of the American Legion for over 30 years where he served as Commander.
He worked as a Supervisor for Neptune Worldwide Movers for 30 years and then went on to work for the USPS until he retired.
He is survived by his wife of 60 wonderful years, the former Ann Fiumara; his son Anthony and his wife Gina; his daughter Mary Ann Sapione and her husband Frank; his daughter-in-law Terry; his grandchildren Krystine, Christopher, Nicole, Matthew, Ashley and Jenna and his great grandchildren Giselle and Rosemary; and his sister Margaret Pennella. He was predeceased by his son Ron.
He enjoyed watching and playing baseball and bowling and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visiting will be Sunday 5-8pm at Sisto & Paino Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday 10:30am at Holy Family Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St.Jude Children’s Hospital.
