Frances Mary Rende, a current resident of Hobe Sound Florida and former longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully after a 14 year battle with Alzheimer’s on March 13, 2019. She was 74. Fran was born on June 22, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio.

She worked for many years at The New Rochelle Pediatric Group and truly enjoyed this work because of her undeniable love of children.

She was predeceased by her father John Lauricella and uncles Ralph and Joseph Lauricella.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Anthony; children Michael (Lisa) and John (Camilla); grandchildren Lauren, Sarah, Michael, Ryan, Sophia, Luke, Jake and Mia; sister Margaret Liu; cousin Sr. June Quilan; as well as many nieces and nephews.She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

The Rende family would like to thank her caring and passionate caregivers of many years, Maria, Marlene, Tamara, Cindy and Silvia. We also wanted to extend thanks to the staff of Solaris Healthcare of Stuart Florida, her home for the last 7 months, who provided excellent care while there. We also thank Hospice of Stuart Florida, who provided excellent care for her for almost 4 years.
Visiting hours will be Monday 4-8pm at Sisto & Paino, Inc. 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle, NY. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday 10 am at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery . In Lieu of flowers Donations can be made to Alzheimers association of West Palm Beach Florida and Hospice of Stuart Florida.
