Alice Rondinelli, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away on March 22, 2019. She was 84.
Alice was born on September 15, 1934 in Valhalla, New York to the late John and Lucinda (D’Aguiar) Satiro. She graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1952 and worked for many years at the Southwestern Publishing Company as Executive Secretary to the President. She married Rosario Rondinelli on June 21, 1958 and they were married for 60 years until his recent passing on January 10, 2019. Alice loved to cook and was an avid fan of mysteries. She dedicated her life to her husband and children and she will most be remembered by her family for her unwavering faith and was an example of Christ’s love to all who knew her.
Alice is survived by her children Linda (Brian Fitzgerald) of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Suzanne Rondinelli Foerst (William Jr) of New Fairfield, Connecticut and Tony of New Rochelle and her beloved grandchildren Natalie Rondinelli Danna, Jonathan Rondinelli Fitzgerald and Greyson Ross Rondinelli Foerst. She is also survived by her sister Lucille Vitalie of Benicia, California and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private burial service will be held on Monday, March 25. A Memorial Mass and celebration of her life will be in August.
