Carmelo Marco Napoli, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on November 6, 2018. He was 86.
Carmelo was born on February 25, 1932 in Italy to the late Alberto and Francesca (Valenti) Napoli.
He was a journalist for Il Progresso News and UPI News Agency at the UN for many years.

He is survived by his wife, the former Rosetta Latassa, whom he married on September 12th 1953; his 3 daughters: Silvana (Arthur) Maloney, Jasmine (William, Jr.) Cloyd and Rosanna Napoli-Norkin; his 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, his 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He was predeceased by his son-in-law David Norkin.

Visiting hours will be Friday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday 9:30am at Holy Name Church. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
