Terence M. Corcoran

It is with great sadness that the Corcoran family announce the passing of Terence M. Corcoran, who lost his life to brain cancer on July 30, 2018 at the age of 81.
Terry was born May 20, 1937 in New York City, and was predeceased by his parents Raymond Corcoran and Mary Maughan, and his three sisters, Patsy, Marlene, and Lois. Terry is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ellen (Flynn), of 58 years. He is also survived by his 5 children, Kelly, Chris, Beth (Craig O’Brien), Ellen, and Susan; his three grandchildren, Tierney and T.J. O’Brien, and Zoe Malzone; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Terry attended St. Catherine’s Parochial School in Pelham and Iona Preparatory School in New Rochelle before going on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. Upon his return from service, he moved home to New Rochelle and began a career in commercial window and glass installation. Terry eventually started his own business, Terence Maughan Enterprises, which he operated before retiring in 1998 to spend more time doing what he loved – golfing at Wykagyl Country Club, painting, cooking, reading – and most of all, spending time with his devoted friends and family.
Visiting will be Saturday 1-4pm & 6-9pm. Memorial Service will be Sunday at 11am at the funeral home where all are welcome to share a BRIEF story or memory of Terry. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Terry’s name to any of the following: Cancercare.org, Calvaryhospital.org, Woundedwarriorproject.org, Humanesocietyofwestchester.org
