Debra “Debbie” Cassara, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed peaceful on July 2, 2018 with her family by her side. She was 64 years of age.
Debbie was born on October 7, 1953 in New Rochelle to Nicholas and Gloria Staropoli. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her three daughters; Dawn, Brenda, and Jennifer, their spouses; John, Paul, and Andrea, and her lifelong love Charlie. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; Joseph, Andrew, Mya, Khloe, Niko, and Riley and five brothers; Patrick, Nicholas, Glenn, Anthony and Robert. Debbie was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She has touched the lives of so many for the better and will be missed eternally.
Visit hours will be Thursday July 5th from 2-5pm and 6-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. located at 16 Shea Place New Rochelle, NY 10805. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday at 10am at Holy Name Church, located at 70 Petersville Road New Rochelle, NY. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Westchester.
