Rupal H. Shukla passed away on June 1, 2018. She was born on January 2, 1989 in New Rochelle, New York, to parents Harshad H. Shukla and Dipa H. Shukla. She was 29 years old. Rupal was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Chaula Shukla Tulio and Heena H. Shukla, and her brother-in-laws Matthew Tulio and Kyle Freiman.
Rupal attended Scarsdale High School and graduated in 2006. She received her Bachelor’s in Science majoring in Psychology and minoring in Economics from Stonybrook University in 2010, and received her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law in 2013.
Rupal was a beautiful, intelligent, witty, and talented young woman. She had a smile that could light up any room. She loved spending quality time with her family and her friends. Rupal loved painting, reading, playing with children, and listening to podcasts. She was extremely generous and considerate of others.
Her travels took her to India, to Costa Rica, and she lived in Washington D.C. and in San Francisco, California. It was always Rupal’s dream to live on the West Coast and she was able to make a life for herself out there.
Rupal worked for TransPerfect, Centext, and Wells Fargo. All of her colleagues loved Rupal and admired her hard work and sincerity. Rupal made friends wherever she went and she treated everyone with kindness and compassion.
Rupal was loved and adored by all of her family and friends and we will all miss her immensely.
