Louise Pedretti, a longtime resident of Pelham Manor, NY and Ft. Lauderdale, FL., died on May 21, 2018. She was 89.
Louise was born on May 17, 1929 in NYC to the late Paul and Mary (Ambri) Fogliazza. She was a member of the Arista Honor Society of the Christopher Columbus High School, Bronx, NY where she was Valedictorian.
Louise worked as a Hospital Administrator for Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx for over 15 years and as a Realtor in Pelham Manor for over 20 years.
Louise was a member of the Manor Club in Pelham Manor Club; current President of the Senior Citizens of Pelham Manor, the Treasurer of her condo association and an Election Volunteer.
She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Anthony Louis Pedretti, the former Executive Chef of the “21” Club in NYC for over 30 years. He passed in 1997.
She is survived by her children Eileen (Rosario) Fazio, MS (ret.), Loraine (Thomas) Burns, Esq (ret.), RN (ret.), Paul (Grace) Pedretti, PE and Mark (Nga) Pedretti, Esq; her 10 grandchildren Christina, John, Jacqueline, Michael, Kara, Anna, Julia, Val, Christopher and Sophia; her great granddaughter Emma Fazio; her sisters Angelina Rapaccioli, Rita Carotenuto and Irene D’Alessio. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday 7-9 pm and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, where a funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday 10am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Pelham Manor, NY. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Scholarship Fund of The Pelham Women’s Club.
