Salvatore D. Ombres, a New York resident, died on April 9, 2018. He was 79. Salvatore was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 17, 1938 to the late Salvatore and Teresina (Regasto) Ombres. He is survived by sisters Veronica Ombres Lee of Whitestone, NY and Lucy Ombres DeLuca of Milford Ct and many loved nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Mary Ombres, Carmella Ombres DeLuca, Frank Ombres, Louise Ombres Scotti, Joseph Ombres. He served in the Army from 1958-1962. He loved people and enjoyed being a Subway Franchise owner for many years on Dyckman Street in Manhattan. In lieu of flowers a donation in his name can be made to a charity of your choice. Interment will be private.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday May 5 from 11am- 1pm
