Leonore Bianco, a long time resident of Pelham, and current resident of New Rochelle, died peacefully on April
27, 2018. She was 102 years old. Leonore was born on March 16, 1916 in Mount Vernon to the late F. Emilio and Theresa (Solano) Iorio. She graduated from Katherine Gibbs Business School and worked for many years at Mount Vernon Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, who died in 1995. She was predeceased also by two sisters Louise Lombardi and Gladys Marinelli and her three brothers Vincent, Emile, and Quentin Iorio. She is survived by her three daughters: Theresa (Robert) Rosenfeld, Louise (Joseph) Ciffone and Gladys (Mitchell) Pearson; five
grandchildren Michele (Brandon) Gioffre, Lauren (Vincent) Marco, Mark (Casey) Rosenfeld and Jaime Ciffone; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor, Arianna, and Olivia Gioffre, Vincent and Tyler Marco, and Jackson
and Skylar Rosenfeld. She was loved by many cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and many friends. Lee will be lovingly remembered for her generous heart, selfless devotion to her family, her radiant smile, and beautiful soul. She cherished time with her family and friends, sharing stories and memories.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, May 1st from 5 pm – 8 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday, May 2 at 10 am at St. Pius X Church, Scarsdale, NY. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lee’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
