John A. Miceli, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, passed away on March 24, 2018. He was 93.
John was born on March 5, 1925 to the late Vincenzo and Rosaria Miceli. He served proudly in the United States Army during WWII. He was the owner of a Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream Shop in New Rochelle. He was married to his beloved wife the former Annette Massi for 70 years.
He is survived by his wife Annette; his children Jack (Mona Patrick) Miceli, Lucy Antonio and Donna Powers (Ray) Amori; his grandchildren Maxine (Drew) Lowe, Lindsay Powers, Richard Powers and Victoria Crimmins; his great grandson Declan Lowe; his sister Carmela Savanello and his “honorary son” Peter Cataldo.
He was predeceased by his son Richard Miceli and his sister Stella Tydor.
Visiting will be Monday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A Mass is scheduled for Tuesday 9:30am at Holy Name Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
