Adrienne Rachel Benevento, our Nan and best friend, was truly one of a kind. Our best friend was the greatest role model anyone could ever ask for. Adrienne was always there for her husband, Armando, her three children, Michelle, Todd and Scott, her seven grandchildren, Rachel, Eric, Jonathan, Todd, Trevor, Kristy and Matt, her three brothers, Richard, Louis and Robert, son in law, Anthony, daughter in law, Andrea, sister in laws, Francine and Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. Adrienne and Armando were married on November 12, 1961. She was a life long resident of New Rochelle and worked for over 36 years in the Health Services Department of the City School District of New Rochelle. She was dedicated to her job and loved all of her friends at City Hall. Adrienne loved singing, cooking, baking, crocheting and most of all spending time with her family. Trips to Disney World, Cape Cod and Mohegan Sun were always her favorite. She had amazing faith even in times of pain and struggle. Nan was a very special person who was a true blessing in the lives of everyone who knew her. We will always remember you. Nan, love you more.
Visiting will be Tuesday 4-8pm with the Mass Wednesday at 10am at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will be at Beechwoods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Calvary Hospital, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.
