Michael C. Recchia, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on December 1, 2017. He was 90.
Michael was born on December 8, 1926 in NYC to the late Charles and Lee (Scarcella) Recchia.
Charles graduated from Evander Childs High School in the Bronx and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from NYU. He worked as an Aerospace Engineer for Republic Aviation in Farmingdale, NY and after that he worked for ADT Security in NYC for several year. He was honorably discharged from the US Navy in 1946 where he served as an Electronic Technician.
He was predeceased by his wife the former Ida Cillo who died on October 21, 2011. He is survived by his 2 daughters Angela Kurtti and Maria O’Neill; 5 grandchildren: Franci, Michael, Amanda, Dana and Alana.

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday 1pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery where interment will follow. Arrangements are be handled by Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle.
