Margaret (DePaolo) Daleo, also known as Mickey, passed away on December 12, 2017. She was 92 years old. Mickey was the beloved wife of her late husbands John DePaolo and James Daleo and the loving mother of AnnaMarie Cillo of East Patchogue, NY, RoseMarie Mahoney of Carmel, NY and Joseph DePaolo (Alicia) of New Rochelle, NY and Westhampton Beach, NY. Mickey was predeceased by her two sons-in-law, Billy Mahoney and Frank Cillo. She was also the loving grandmother, “Nanny”, to eight grandchildren ; Tina Marie Donatiello (Sal), Sabrena Reinhardt (William), Vicki Mansor, Kelly Mahoney, Anthony Cillo (Lee), Vinny Cillo (Erica), Stephanie DePaolo and Robert DePaolo. Additionally, Mickey had ten great grandchildren ; Olivia and Jaden Donatiello, Maximus Reinhardt, David and John Mansor, Brandon, Americus and Victoria Cameli, Luca and Leo Cillo.
Mickey was the sister of Frank DiMizio (Mikki) and was predeceased by her sister Mary Salerno and her brother Anthony DiMizio. She
leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Mickey’s life centered around her family and friends and she was known for her delicious Italian cooking. She loved traveling,
dancing and playing cards with her grandchildren and friends.Visiting hours will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY 10805. A funeral mass is scheduled for Saturday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be private.
