Frances McHugh Schoenherr, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on November 21, 2017. She was 77.
Frances was born on January 8, 1940 in Edgewater, Bronx to the late Francis and Mary (Clarkin- Riley) McHugh.
Frances worked for over 9 years at Salesian High School and then
for over 18 years at New Rochelle High School. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur who died November 27, 1997.
She is survived by her children Nancy (Frank) Di Buono, Arthur Schoenherr, Thomas (Betsy) and Kerri Schoenherr; her 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Amanda, Michael, Elizabeth and Katie; her 3 great grandchildren: Mckayla, Molly and Emma. She was an avid dog lover who also leaves behind her pets Murphy and Cody. She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Murphy.

Visiting will be Friday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle NY. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday 9:30am at Holy Name Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Lung Association.
