Louis Anthony Carino

Louis Anthony Carino, 100 years old,
passed away at The Gardens of Fair Oaks in Fairfax, VA
on Saturday, October 21st.
He was born on December 12, 1916 to Carmela and Angelo Carino
in New Rochelle, NY, and lived there on Washington Avenue for 90 years.
He married Julia Rose Inello in 1940. They had three children and were married for 64 years.
He served in the United States Navy in the Pacific Rim during World War II.
He worked in the family butcher business in his early years and was the office manager
of the Scarsdale Police Department where he served as President of CSE Association.
He retired in 1985.
He was a life member of the Elks Lodge of New Rochelle.
He loved to play golf and watch baseball and even though he was a New Yorker, he
embraced the Red Sox in his later years.
He was predeceased by his beloved Julia, son Dr. Ronald Carino,
and daughter Christina Vaughan.
He has lived in Fairfax, Virginia for the past 10 years to be with his
daughter, Catherine and her husband Russ Stube.
Louis is survived by his sister, Norma Talento, daughter, Catherine, grandchildren,
David, Christian, Aimee, Mark, Jeffrey, Brian & Emily as well as his great grandchildren,
Christina, Bella, Lola, Kenny, Finn, Soleil and Siena.
His family is blessed to have him for so many years and he will be greatly missed.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 25th at 10am
St. Joseph’s Church, 280 Washington Ave. New Rochelle, NY
Viewing will be on Tuesday, October 24th from 4-8pm

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
