Angelo A. Carino, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 15, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on July 14, 1949 in Andretta, Avellino, Italy to the late Nicola and Angelina (Gallo) Carino. He immigrated to the United States at age 12 with his family and went on to become a master plumber for over 35 years.
Angelo is survived by his wife Mary (Gualtieri); his loving children Christina (Scott) Carino-Forrest, Nicolas, and Angelo Jr; and his grandchildren Anthony and Sofia Forrest. In addition, he is survived by his brothers Pasquale (Angelina) and John (Jane), and his sister Lina (Freddy Sidhwa) Carino. He is predeceased by his brother Antonio.
Visiting will be Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm and Monday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday 10:00am at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery.
