Obituary of Lorraine M. Pierce by her loving husband Robert E. Pierce
The soul of my wonderful wife of 52 years, Lorraine Mary Helen Lhotan Pierce, (Lori) was taken by Holy Angels to be with Jesus Christ in Heaven on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1:00 AM. She was and is a blessing to me from Our Heavenly Father and His Only Begotten Son, Jesus the Messiah. My heart is broken and my eyes tear continuously. I miss her so much. Lorraine was so very compassionate, intelligent and beautiful. We married April 05, 1965 when I was in the U. S. Marine Corps. God used her to save me from going to Vietnam 1965. We moved to Virginia with my parents for a year while I attended college and Lori worked at Time Finance in Appalachia, Va. After a year we moved to Throggs Neck in the Bronx, where I got involved with the wrong “friends” . God used my Sweet Lovely Lorraine to save me from drugs. Seven months after I gave up drugs and friends and started worshipping Jesus Christ again, LorI married me again, twice, once in a civil ceremony and again in church. We were not blessed with children because of the drugs Lori had to take for her daily migraine headaches. I prayed to God to make a decision because I wanted to be the father of her children so badly . God told me that my purpose on earth was to take care of Lori and love her with my whole heart as He does. Then I had a vasectomy to keep a baby from being born with handicaps.
Lori was employed by New York Telephone Company for 25 years and worked much overtime, and being promoted to manager. After retirement, for about 15 years, after moving to New Rochelle from Throggs Neck in the Bronx, she worked as a volunteer community activist in Peggy Godfrey’s Reform Club, which fosters peaceful and respectful communications between Republicans, Democrats, and Independents of all Stripes. Our nation needs God’s Holy Spirit to give us peace today between all political parties. Lori also managed a part of New Rochelle’s 2000 Census and walked in neighborhoods which others avoided. Everyone loves her. You will see her again if you receive God’s Gift of Eternal Life in Heaven.
If your loved ones must become a patient in a hospital or nursing home, please be there as an advocate for them. Make sure the facility does not use their scratchy towels. You must supply Baby Wipes, toilet paper, and paper towels to the facility for all cleansing purposes on the patient.
A young Chinese-American, Doctor Hong who was the only doctor that day, discovered that Lori’s left kidney was
impacted with calcium that it was dead, the other kidney was close to being dead but he could not tell how much..
Women, especially, be careful of taking calcium supplements or prescriptions from your doctor which contain calcium..
I pray for Jesus Christ to give wisdom to the families of all who find this information useful to save their own life or the lives of your loved ones, that you become aware that doctors are not perfect.
