At 73 years young, Matthew John King, Jr., passed away on March 28, 2017. Matthew was born on May 3, 1943 in New York City to the late Matthew John King, Sr., and Elsa Heyman King. He was little brother to his late big sister Elsa King (Marcuccilli). He spent the last 32 years living with the love of his life, his wife, Amalia King. From working on Wall Street, to walking the beaches of Puerto Rico, Matthew truly believed in living life to the fullest and enjoying all the best life has to offer. As a true family man, he loved nothing more than sharing time and making endless memories with his children and grandchildren. While he was a guiding light to his own children, his grandchildren were the light of his life. Matthew was the kind of selfless man that everyone wanted to be. His unforgettable presence and immeasurable impact will continue to be felt by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amalia; his children Danielle King, Amy and her husband Marc Molina, Jeanette and her husband Joe Russell, David and his wife Caitlin Tanner, April and her husband Benjamin Dellacona, Michelle and her husband Danny Lovecchio; and his grand children Joseph, Jaxon and John Michael Russell.

Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 30, 2017, from 5-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., located at 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY 10801. A Mass is scheduled for Friday, March 31, 2017, at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church located at 15 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY 10801. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.
