Lydia Pascuzzi, 88, of New Rochelle, died Friday, March 3,2017, at Montefiore Medical Center. Born October 12, 1928, she was the daughter of Frank Buzzuro and Laura Centascudi Buzzuro.
Born of Italian immigrants, she was raised in Tuckahoe and New Rochelle, overcame polio at a young age, and went on to become valedictorian of her class at Albert Leonard High School.
She was an active member of the Blessed Mother’s Sodality at Holy Name of Jesus church. She loved cooking, going out to lunch with her friends, spending time with her family, and visiting Lake George.She leaves behind her daughters Linda, Annmarie, and Michele Pascuzzi; her daughter-in-law Kathleen; her grandsons Stephen and Ryan Pascuzzi and Robert Diaz; her sister Rita Cassara; and many nieces and nephews. She joins her husband Stephen, her son Stephen, and brother Salvatore in eternal rest.Visiting will be Tuesday 4-8pm.Mass is scheduled for Wednesday 9:30am Holy Name
