Kathleen M. Boettigheimer, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away on March 3, 2017 at the age of 100. Kathleen was born on December 26, 1916 in Mt. Vernon to the late James and Mary (McLaughlin) Kelly.
Kathleen worked for many years with the Girl Scouts of Westchester and Putnam where she was a member for over 75 years. She was recipient of the Golden Eaglet Award, (the Girl Scout’s highest honor). She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and prior to that Sacred Heart Church in Mt. Vernon.

Kathleen was predeceased by her loving husband, Rudolph whom she married on September 21, 1947. He died in 2014. She is survived by her 6 children: Kathleen deMaCarty, David (Roseann Consolo), Thomas (Beth Danzig), Stephen (Debora Jablonka), James (Margaret Rosenzweig) and Barbra (John Leone) her 14 cherished grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visiting will be on Sunday 3-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday at Holy Family Church at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
