Joseph S. Orlando, a resident of Lewes, Delaware, passed away on January 25, 2017. He was 69.

Joseph was born on April 14, 1947 in the Bronx to the late Adolph and Maryrose (Marino) Orlando. He was retired from Bergen Regional Medical Center as Chief Hospital Executive and former Executive Director of Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. He was an active participant in Salesian High School Alumni Association, the Board of Directors of Monroe College, and in several Bronx community associations to benefit the neighborhood, including the Morris Heights Health Center. He was a lover of all things automotive, especially Corvettes and Vespas.

Joseph is survived by his two daughters; Karen (William) Vetter and Emily Orlando; his four grandchildren Hunter Deneen, Jackson Targa, Chiara Vetter and Hudson Vetter, and his former spouses, Lorraine Orlando and Rita Orlando. He is also survived by his siblings; Frank (Noreen) Orlando, Adolph M.(Debra) Orlando and Genevieve (Richard) Vaccariello.

Joseph was also predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Orlando.

Visiting Hours will be on Saturday 7-9pm & Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle, NY. A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Monday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will be private. Donations can be made to the family’s choice of charity, St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
