Josefina Rothmann, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on August 17, 2016. She was 93.
Josefina was born on February 20, 1923 in Santiago de Cuba to the late Jose and Elvira (Boix) Hartmann. She worked as a translator for Editors Press Service in NYC for several years and then as a Sales Associate at Bloomingdales in New Rochelle. She was predeceased by her husband H. Robert Rothmann whom she married in 1948. He died in 2011. She is survived by her son Robert C. Rothmann and his wife Suzette; her two grandchildren: Najette and Heather.

Visiting hours will be Friday 8:30am to 10:15am at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY 10805. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
