Dorothy A. Frenz PhD, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on May 28, 2016. She was 62.
Dorothy was born on January 17, 1954 in New Rochelle to Anthony and Angelina (Guida) Chiodo. She was a scientist who was the Director of Otolaryngology Research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She taught Anatomy and Histology at both Einstein and NY Medical College.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Michael Frenz whom she married on September 15, 1974; her two children Elizabeth (Pasquale) Frenz Tedesco and Christopher Frenz; her 5 grandchildren Jonathan, Sophia, Nicholas, Ryan and Anthony and her sister Rose Chiodo Behney.
Visiting will be Tuesday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday 10:30am at the College of New Rochelle Chapel. Interment Kensico Cemetery.
