Pasquale (Pat) Ferrara of Huntington Beach, CA passed away on January 29, 2016. He was currently residing at the Sunrise Assistant Living facility.
Pat was born in Mt. Vernon, NY to the late Giovanni and Gesualda Ferrara. He had attended Edison High School. Pat had proudly served in the US Navy during The Korean War.
He was also a dance instructor at The Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Mt. Vernon and also in Caracas Venezuela. Pat was in the food industry for many years and was eventually transferred to California.
Pat loved to travel on cruises, eat good food, enjoy wine, and most of all liked coming back to New York to be with family and friends.
Pat is predeceased by six brothers, Michael, Anthony, Carmine, Nicholas, John and Ralph as well as four sisters Angelina Ferrara, Mary Potthast, Filomenia Della Donne, and Antoinette Gear. He is Survived by his sister Anna Palumbo of New Rochelle, NY, two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law along with many nieces and nephews who will greatly miss him.
Visiting will be Monday 4-8pm and Tuesday 5-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy and Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. A mass of Christian burial is scheduled for Wednesday 10:30am at Holy Family Church in New Rochelle.
