Joseph Brendan McNaney (Joe) 56 passed away on January 4th at the University of Florida Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida from complications from pancreatic surgery. Joseph was born on July 22, 1959 in New Rochelle to James P. McNaney and the late Mary Louise McNaney.In addition to his father he is survived by his wife Jeanne( Nee McLeod ),his daughters Caleigh and Lyndsey and son Brendan.He is also survived by his sisters Susan McNaney and Kathleen Schumacher; several nieces and nephews. Joe is predeceased by his mother Mary Louise McNaney,his sister, Margaret McNaney Manning and his brother,James Patrick McNaney. Joe and his family had lived in Greenwich, CT and moved to Jupiter, FL a year ago. Joe had a long and distinguished career in executive level management in the paper and renewable energy business. In 2014, he was appointed CEO of Alliance Media Group Renewables in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Joe was a graduate of the New Rochelle Public Schools and graduated from Iona College with a B.A.in Marketing in 1981. He was an avid hockey fan and loved to take his nephews to hockey games when they were young. He was so proud of his mother who founded HOPE Community Services in New Rochelle in 1984. Joe’s Irish wit and his love of family will be cherished and remembered forever.
Visiting hours will be Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle, NY. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday 10:30am at Holy Family Church. Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery
