Stella M. Pisani, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, died on October 26, 2015. She was 96.
Stella was born July 18, 1919 in New Rochelle, to the late Joseph and Mary (Falzia) Miceli. She married her husband, Emil, on October 23, 1938. She worked for many years at both Zerick Inc., and as the head cook for Selesian High School in New Rochelle. In 2005, she moved to live with her grandson, Chad, in Fishkill, NY. Her hobbies included knitting and cooking (especially for Sunday dinners). Most of all she loved visiting with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Emil J. Pisani; her siblings Jean Miceli, Fannie Cantinieri, James “Sonny” Miceli; and most recently, her son Emil A. Pisani, May 14th of this year.
She is survived by her daughter Beverly Roth; her 3 grandchildren Tony Pisani, Lisa Pisani, and Chad Roth; her 2 great-grandchildren Nicholas and Courtney Roth; her siblings Dolores Guerrise and Louis Miceli; many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 4-8pm and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc., 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday 10am at St. Joseph’s Church. Interment will follow at Beechwoods Cemetery
