In her later years, she was also a member of the Ladies Guild of Holy Family parish, and volunteered at the senior center sharing her knitting skills and Irish heritage. Dympna loved and treasured her family, She never missed a chance to sing an Irish song, recite an Irish poem, or kick up her heels for an Irish dance. Her sharp wit brought a smile to many a face.
