Michael Edward Cioffoletti Sr., a longtime resident of New Rochelle, and current resident of Nanuet NY, died on August 23, 2015, peacefully under Hospice care. He was 76.
Michael was born on February 1, 1939 in New Rochelle, to the late Albert and Edith (Hubbard) Cioffoletti, Sr. Michael served in the US Army during the Korean War, then continued on by working several years for New Rochelle Hospital, then for the Nanuet School District and finally retiring from the County of Rockland Facilities Management as a Maintenance Mechanic . Michael also nicknamed “Mike the Hammer” had a passion for gardening and enjoyed working with his hands, tackling all kinds of projects. Once he learned how to master a computer, He enjoyed competitive gaming and loved keeping in touch with Family & Friends online. Michael never passed up a delicious Italian combo wedge but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his Wife Lorraine Nadal- Cioffoletti; his Children Michael John (Melodie) Weissman, Annmarie (Bryan) Brown, Michael Cioffoletti Jr., Katherine (Frank) Giuliani, Denise (William) Schoenleber and Gina (Sean) Butler; his Grandchildren: Michael, Mark, Nicole, Philip, Courtney, Kieran, Riley and Aidan; his Great Granddaughter Zoie; his Siblings Albert Cioffoletti Jr., John (Mary Alice) Cioffoletti and Catherine (Robert) Anderson; His Mother-in-Law Charlotte Nadal and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. He is predeceased by two infant grandchildren.
Funeral service and interment will be private.
