Antonio Sacco, 93, passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 3, 2015. Antonio was born on January 12, 1922 in Falconara Albanese, Italy to the late Ottavio and Enea Sacco. Antonio and Fernanda Mascaro were married in Italy . Antonio worked for 33 years as an electrical engineer for AMF/ Thermatool. When not at work, Antonio enjoyed tending his flowers and garden but drew most enjoyment from his 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. His loving relationships with his grandchildren and great granddaughter were the focal point of his life. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge locally.He is survived by His Beloved wife Fernanda. His Sister Maddalena Chiodo, His children Esther(John) Barcia, Eva(Ken) Berino, Rosemary(Nick) Williams, Anna Derusha, Nancy(Nick) Sarubbi, and Anthony(Elizabeth) Sacco. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 2 nephews, 1 niece and their children and grandchildren. Visiting Hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Place New Rochelle. A funeral mass is scheduled for Blessed Sacrament Church Tuesday 9:30am . Interment will follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. In Lieu of flowers his family requests donations be made to Montefiore New Rochelle’s ICU for their never ending support and service.
