Curtis Benz, age 71, a longtime resident of New Rochelle, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2015.
Curt was born on June 16, 1943 in Canada to the late Charles and Katherine (Wells) Benz. Curt was an avid fisherman and a devoted fan of the NY Giants, Rangers and the Yankees. He attended New Rochelle Schools.
He is survived by his loving wife the former Linda Carino whom he married on August 1, 1965; his sister Kathy Gareri and her husband Charlie ; brother Robert Benz and his wife Maureen; mother-in-law Violet (late Rocco) Carino; sister-in-law Lisa Correale and her husband Ross; nieces Tara (John) Orsini, Kacey Torpey; nephews Michael Benz and Christopher and Stephen Correale.
Curt will be remembered for his great sense of humor and loyalty to his friends and family.

Visiting Thursday 4-8pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle where a funeral service will take place on Friday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Butterflies from Jodie.
