Elinor M. Lennon, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on November 23, 2014. She was 91.
Elinor was born on September 4, 1923 in New Rochelle, to the late Thomas and Sarah (McGoey) Ryder.
She worked for Railway Express and Reinsurance Clearing House.

She was predeceased by her husband James who died in 1981. She is survived by her children: James (Helene) Lennon, Jr, Mary Ellen (Richard) Owen, Suzanne Lennon, Eileen (Gary) Austin, Timothy (Peggy) Lennon; her 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and her brother Robert (Anne) Ryder. She was predeceased by her two brothers Thomas and Gerald Ryder and her grandson Patrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Pl. New Rochelle, NY 10805. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Wednesday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre.
